Go Metro this weekend’s NASCAR races at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.
Fans heading to the race can use Metro’s E Line (Expo) train and exit at the Expo Park/USC Station, which is a short walk to the stadium — we’ll be running extra service on the E Line on Sunday. The E Line runs between Santa Monica and downtown L.A., where there are connections to Metro’s B/D (Red/Purple) Line subway and many bus lines.
Fans can also take the Metro J (Silver Line) and exit at 37th St/USC Station, which is about a 10-minute walk to the Coliseum.
We recommend using the Transit app — Metro’s official app — to plan your trips. Here are the links to get Transit for iPhones and for Android phones.
Fares
•Pay Before You Board. A one-way fare is $1.75 and round-trip is $3.50. Fares include transfers to other Metro lines for up to 2 hours).
•Save time and skip the line! Download the TAP App or load your TAP card with round-trip fare before the game and avoid long lines at TAP vending machines after the race.
•Tap Your Card on the Turnstile or Validator When Boarding or Transferring
•Use one TAP card per person only. TAP cards cannot be shared; each person must have their own TAP card
Safety
•Riders are required to wear face masks!
•Small coolers and picnic baskets are okay to bring on board, but please keep aisles clear.
•Eating or drinking while in stations or on board Metro buses and trains is not permitted.
