Go Metro to Once Upon a Time in L.A. this Saturday

The southland has seen some pretty impressive concerts in recent weeks, i.e., Rolling Loud, Kanye West and Drake at the Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, but the lineup for this weekend’s festival just might top them all.

Once Upon a Time in L.A. will take place at Banc of California and Exposition Park this Saturday, December 18 with headliners Snoop Dogg, Al Greene, 50 Cent, The Game, YG and Ice Cube. Further down the roster is a mix of old and new school hip-hop, R&B and funk artists spanning across three decades.

Tickets have sold out; however, a waitlist for tickets is still available if you’re feeling lucky. To avoid heavy traffic and high parking prices, we recommend taking the E Line (Expo) to Expo Park/USC or Expo/Vermont Station.

If you’re new to Metro, fares are $1.75 one-way and includes two hours of free transfers. You will need a TAP card to ride, and they can be purchased for $2 at the TAP vending machines at all Metro Rail stations. If you’re an iPhone user, consider adding a TAP card to Apple Wallet, or download the TAP app (available on iPhone and Android) for easy contactless payment. E Line trains are scheduled to run every 12 minutes throughout the day and every 20 minutes after 9 p.m.

Please note that masks are currently required on public transit and in all indoor public places in Los Angeles County, as well as at events with over 10,000 attendees.

And finally, a few more helpful tips to follow. Have fun, be safe and thanks for Going Metro!
