C Line (Green) service will be suspended between Lakewood Bl and Vermont/Athens Stations due to signal system upgrades starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, September 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday, September 12 .

The following stations will be closed: Long Beach Bl, Willowbrook/Rosa Parks, Avalon and Harbor Freeway.

Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles between Lakewood and Vermont/Athens. Metro staff will be on hand to lend assistance at all C Line stations where bus shuttles are running. Please allow extra travel time as the work will impact AM and PM rush hour on Friday, September 10.

For those planning to travel to LAX during this period, the LAX Shuttle G bus will operate from its usual stop at Aviation/LAX Station. Regular train service will resume after 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 12.
