Union Station becomes a Plantopia on Saturday, July 31

Attention all plant lovers! Mark your calendars for the debut of Plantopia, a plant and pottery market dedicated to all things botanical that will take place at Union Station on Saturday, July 31. The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Ticket Concourse.

Immerse yourself in the art of indoor gardening. You’ll be able to shop from a variety of plant vendors and participate in activities such as a Plant Doctor Q&A and a green decór demo with Danae Horst, founder of Los Angeles-based plant boutique and plant styling studio Folia Collective. You’ll even be able to listen to music that was specifically composed for plants!

Be sure to RSVP for one of two time slots: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are free and will guarantee entry. Walk-ins will be welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Go Metro to Plantopia by taking the B Line (Red), D Line (Purple), L Line (Gold) or J Line (Silver) directly to Union Station. The station is also served by many Metro and municipal buses. Plan your trip with Transit app, or using the Trip Planner at metro.net.
