Service Advisory: buses replace C Line (Green) service between Willowbrook/Rosa Parks and Crenshaw Station this weekend

Metro will be performing signal system upgrade work on the C Line (Green) this weekend, starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 12 through close of service Sunday, March 14. During this time, there will be no train service between Willowbrook/Rosa Parks and Crenshaw Station.

Free bus shuttles will replace train service between Crenshaw and Willowbrook/Rosa Parks while the work is performed. Metro staff will be on hand to lend assistance where bus shuttles are running.

Customers planning to travel in the work area should allow extra time between shuttle buses and trains. Regular service to all stations will resume at start of service Monday, March 15.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve C Line service. For real-time service updates, please follow us on Twitter @metrolaalerts.

  1. Metro is going to use Willowbrook station as a pickup point for this track work for this weekend. Did they forget, that due to the construction already in progress at the willowbrook station that we only have 2 bus bays available for the 55, 120, and 205. (Not counting the 202 because it’s only weekday during rush hour) so where does Metro plan on staging these C line shuttles as to not disrupt the lines that belong in that station? Every time there is a bus bridge that involves the Willowbrook station it always creates a problem for the routes that belong there!!

  2. On the Norwalk side of this spilt, trains could be operated with 3 cars if wanted since all 4 stations on this segment are long enough to do so.
