Metro Bike Share offering discounted 365-Day Passes to essential workers throughout L.A. County

Metro Bike Share and the City of Los Angeles want to recognize the incredible sacrifices that many essential workers have made and continue to make on a daily basis. As the need for safe and reliable public transportation options endures through the pandemic, Metro Bike Share is offering a 50 percent discount on its 365-Day Pass (a $75 value). The 365-Day Pass includes unlimited 30-minute Metro Bike Share rides and waives the Electric Metro Bike unlocking fee for a full year.

A credit or debit card is required to apply. Service and convenience fees still apply. The 365-Day Pass is effective starting on the signup date, and the pass does not auto-renew.

Essential workers can sign up for Essential Workers Program on the Metro Bike Share website here. Eligible Bike Share for Business pass holders can redeem this pass by reaching out to business@bikeshare.metro.net. Current Metro Bike Share Passholders who are eligible for the Essential Workers Program, can reach out to support@bikeshare.metro.net to enroll.

  1. I support Metro Bike Share’s continual expansion westward. They are now at Wilcox / Fountain. I would like to propose more stations

    – The Grove
    – Beverly Center
    – West Hollywood Library
    – Plummer Park
    – West Hollywood City Hall

    Let’s keep going!
