This month, all Service Councils will hear an update on the Traffic Reduction Study and a NextGen Bus Speed Engineering Working Group Update, which is working on bus supportive infrastructure projects to speed up the bus system in support of the NextGen Bus Plan. Last but not least, all Councils will receive their quarterly report on their region’s key performance indicators, and updates on projects, programs, and events in their area.
There are two extra items at this month’s San Fernando meeting: an overview of the draft Recovery Task Force Plan in anticipation of the comment period closing on February 8, and the swearing in of new member Erin Nash.
In case you missed it, the Gateway Cities Service Council is seeking applications for a new member to serve for the upcoming term – deadline to apply is Friday, March 26.

- San Fernando Valley: Wednesday, February 3, 6:30 p.m.
- San Gabriel Valley: Monday, February 8, 5:00 p.m.
- Westside Central: Wednesday, February 10, 6:00 p.m.
- Gateway Cities: Thursday, February 11, 2:00 p.m.
- South Bay Cities: Friday, February 12, 9:30 a.m.
Service Council meeting agendas are always posted here at least 3 days before the meeting if not sooner, with links to submit comments that will be read during the meeting, and information on how to call and comment by phone during the meeting.
