The SR-170 freeway will undergo bridge demolition work at Chandler Boulevard beginning Monday, Jan. 18 as part of the SR-170 soundwall project. This work will take place late nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Jan. 22.
During this time, Chandler Blvd. will closed in both directions. There will be periodic traffic delays and large equipment accessing the worksite SR-170 at Chandler Blvd. Detours and re-routing will be clearly marked. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

Please clarify: Is the entire bridge being demolished (like the Burbank Blvd bridge on the 5), or just part?
Also, why is Metro not covering the I-5 work on The Source? It is a -=Major=- transportation project in the area.
Same question with regards to the 6th St viaduct and the new Gerald Desmond bridge.
Hi Just a Person;
I’m not sure the percentage of the bridge that will be demolished this weekend, but as the notice says there are closures in both directions.
Fair enough on I-5 project. However, the 6th Street viaduct project is city of L.A. project.
