Metro’s “Community Conversations” are online meetings hosted by community leaders to help us learn the histories, art, activism and cultural assets of the neighborhoods that shape Los Angeles County. The next conversation, Mi Centro es Tu Centro: A Place of Pride for Boyle Heights, will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Join us and learn about the Eastside’s LGBTQ history and how Mi Centro in Boyle Heights serves Latinx LGBTQ individuals and the broader Boyle Heights area.
