Metro will be upgrading signal systems on the C Line (Green) starting this Friday, November 6 at 11 a.m. through end of service Sunday, November 8.
During this time, there will be no train service between Willowbrook/Rosa Parks and Hawthorne/Lennox Station. This means the following stations will be closed: Avalon, Harbor Freeway, Vermont/Athens and Crenshaw
All eastbound trains will run as far as Hawthorne/Lennox and turn back to Redondo Beach. All westbound trains will run as far as Willowbrook/Rosa Parks and turn back to Norwalk.
Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles providing service to all stations between Hawthorne/Lennox and Willowbrook/Rosa Parks, and shuttles will match the C Line (Green) schedule as best as possible.
Metro staff will be on hand to lend assistance where shuttles are running. Regular service will resume at start of service Monday, November 9.
As always, we appreciate your patience as we work to improve C Line (Green) service. For the latest service updates, please follow us on Twitter @Metrolaalerts.

I really hope metro remembers they got work going on at the Rosa parks Station. We currently have the 120 202 612 55 205 and Gardena at two service bays…. yes 2. I know that some of those lines do not run on the weekend, but every time metro runs a bus bridge due to work on the train, the regular lines usually get “assed out” of a stall due to the Rail supervisor “taking over.” This is not fair to the drivers of the lines that belong in those stations and it’s not fair to the passengers
