The Eastside Access Improvements project will help implement a program of streetscape, pedestrian safety, and bicycle access improvements in a one-mile radius around the future underground Regional Connector Little Tokyo Station.
LADWP will begin power duct bank relocation work to existing underground lines on Alameda St. between 1st Street and Temple St. beginning Oct. 19, 2020. Crews will operate weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Work is expected to continue through November 2020.
Expect possible traffic delays and slight increase in travel times due to posted lane closures. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
