There will be no C Line (Green) train service between Crenshaw/I-105 and Redondo Beach Station starting Friday, October 9 at 9 p.m. to Sunday, October 11 close of service as crews perform signal system upgrades.
The following stations will be closed: Hawthorne/Lennox, Aviation/LAX, Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach.
Free bus shuttles will replace train service while the work is performed. This means eastbound train service will start at Crenshaw Station. All westbound Green Line trains will travel as far as Crenshaw Station and turn back towards Norwalk.
Customers planning to travel in the work area should allow extra time between shuttle buses and trains. Regular service to all stations will resume at start of service Monday, October 12.
As always, we thank you for your understanding as we work to improve the C Line. Follow us on Twitter @metrolaalerts for the latest service updates. For routes and schedule information, visit Metro.net or call 323.GOMETRO.
