C Line (Green) service will be suspended this weekend between Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach as crews perform signal system upgrades.
The work begins this Friday, September 18 at 9 p.m. through Sunday, September 20 close of service. During the closure, Mariposa, El Segundo and Douglas Station will be closed.
This means all eastbound train service begins at Aviation/LAX. All westbound trains will travel as far as Aviation/LAX and turn back towards Norwalk. Bus shuttles will replace train service between Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach, stopping at every station in between.
Customers planning to travel in the work area should allow extra time between buses and trains. Regular service to all stations resumes at start of service Monday, September 21.
