The Metro G (Orange) Line BRT Improvements Project is one of the early Measure M transit projects with $286 million in Measure M and $75 million in state funds. The project aims to improve travel time and enhance safety by building up to 35 railroad-style gates at intersections along the G Line (Orange) route and constructing bridges for the Orange Line over Van Nuys and Sepulveda boulevards.
As part of this project, the G Line Sepulveda Station will be rebuilt as an elevated station to improve operating speeds, capacity and safety. Metro is currently studying the area surrounding Sepulveda Station to identify potential improvements for walking and bicycling connections to the future station, and we’d love to hear from you!
Metro has created an interactive map-based survey for the community to share their first/last mile improvement ideas and priorities. If you live, work or take transit in the area, take a few minutes to fill out the survey — participants will have a chance to win a Metro prize pack with various Metro-themed goodies!
Click here to take the survey! Survey ends Sept. 25.
