Bicycling remains an essential way to get around, especially for those facing financial hardships due to the pandemic. It’s been a way for people to access resources as well as get some exercise for both mental and physical health. So we’d like to make it easier for you to bike this August with the Metro Bike Share LA Relief program.

All Metro Bike Share passes will be offered at a reduced cost from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31, 2020. A 30-minute 1-Ride or 24-Hour Access Pass will be just $1! The 30-Day Pass will be $10, and the 365-Day Pass will be $100.

You can also download the Metro Bike Share app to purchase Metro Bike Share passes, find bike share stations, manage your account and unlock Metro Bikes across LA County with your smartphone. The Metro Bike Share app is available for Apple and Android.

Existing TAP users can sign up for discounted 30-Day or 365-Day Passes through taptogo.net/metrobikeshare.

With all promotions and passes, usage fees apply after the first 30 minutes of using Metro Bike Share. To avoid these fees, users should dock their bike and start a new trip every 30 minutes. Unlocking fees for electric bikes will be waived during this promotional period. Smart bike convenience fees are still applicable. Offer valid through Aug. 31, 2020. The 30-Day Pass is effective starting on your sign-up date, and the pass does not auto-renew.
