Service Advisory: Buses replace C Line (Green) train service between Crenshaw Station and Redondo Beach this weekend

As construction continues on the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, additional work is needed to complete the connection between the Crenshaw/LAX tracks and existing C Line (Green).

Due to the nature of work, weekend rail service will be suspended between Crenshaw and Redondo Beach Stations starting Friday, June 19 from 7 p.m. to Sunday, June 21 close of service.

The following stations will be closed: Hawthorne/Lennox, Aviation/LAX, Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach.

Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles between Crenshaw Station and Redondo Beach. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes before and after those times.

Metro staff will be on hand to lend assistance at all C Line stations where bus shuttles are running. Please allow extra travel time to your commute.

For those planning to travel to LAX during this period, the LAX Shuttle G bus will operate from its usual stop at Aviation/LAX Station.

Finally, we realize this work can be an inconvenience and we want to thank you for your patience as Metro moves towards the completion of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project.

The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project is an 8.5-mile light rail line with eight new stations serving the Crenshaw, Inglewood, Westchester and LAX communities. For more information, visit the Crenshaw/LAX project page.
