This Friday, May 29 from 9 p.m. to close of service Sunday, May 31, C Line (Green) service will be suspended between Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach as crews upgrade the section’s signaling system.
This means the following stations will be closed: Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach.
Buses will replace trains between Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach while the work is in effect. Service between Aviation/LAX and Norwalk will run as normal with trains running every 15 minutes throughout the day and every 20 minutes after 9 p.m.
Buses will match the train schedule as best as possible. Please allow extra travel time to your commute. Regular service to all stations will resume Monday, June 1.
As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the C Line (Green). For the latest service updates, please follow us on Twitter @MetroLAalerts.

Green Line is a much better name then C line. It’s just another example of too many overpaid chefs in the Metro kitchen. Keep the original names and use the alphabet for new lines.
