C Line (Green) service will be suspended this weekend beginning Friday, May 15 at 7 p.m. to close of service Sunday, May 17 as crews continue work to tie-in tracks to the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project.
This means the following stations will be closed: Aviation/LAX, Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach. Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles between Hawthorne/Lennox and Redondo Beach Station.
Trains between Norwalk and Hawthorne/Lennox are scheduled to run every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes before and after those times. Buses will match the train schedule as best as possible.
We recommend allowing extra travel time to your commute. Regular train service will resume at start of service Monday, May 18.
Metro thanks all C Line (Green) riders for their patience and understanding as we work to complete the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project.
