Buses replace C Line (Green) service between Hawthorne/Lennox and Redondo Beach this weekend

This Friday, May 1 from 7 p.m. to Sunday, May 3 close of service, buses will replace C Line (Green) trains between Hawthorne/Lennox and Redondo Beach as crews continue work to tie in the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project tracks.

This means the following stations will be closed: Aviation/LAX, Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach.

Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles between Hawthorne/Lennox and Redondo Beach. Trains are scheduled to run every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes before and after those times.

Buses will match the train schedule as best as possible. We recommend allowing extra travel time to your commute. For those planning to go to LAX, the G shuttle will continue to run regular service from Aviation/LAX station. Regular rail service will resume Monday, May 4.

Metro would like to thank you for your patience as the agency continues working toward the completion of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project.
