Metro will be upgrading signal systems on the C Line (Green) starting 9 p.m. Friday, March 13 through end of service, Sunday, March 15. During this time, there will be no train service between Crenshaw/I-105 and Redondo Beach Station.
This means the following stations will be closed: Hawthorne/Lennox, Aviation/LAX, Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas and Redondo Beach.
Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles between Crenshaw and Redondo Beach, and shuttles will match the C Line (Green) schedule as best as possible. Metro staff will be on hand to lend assistance where bus shuttles are running. Regular service will resume at start of service Monday.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve C Line (Green) service. For real-time service updates, please follow us on Twitter @Metrolaalerts.

something fishy’s going on here I’ve been riding the green line for like 10 years seems political
Would it not be a great time to upgrade the electrical system so as the new connection of the two lines can run at it’s optima service needs?
Any update on the opening date of the Crenshaw line-connecting the green line? Originally it was fall 2019, then early summer 2020. Some news reports say it will be delayed further? Can anyone give us an approximate date after all this time?
