Metro is hosting an Older Adult Transportation Pop-Up event on Saturday, Feb. 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pan Pacific Senior Activity Center.

Accessible via Metro Bus 16 and 17 at 3rd/Gardner.

The event is designed to provide older adults with the knowledge and resources to learn how to safely and independently travel on fixed route transportation. An informational presentation is slated to begin promptly at 11 a.m. where attendees will learn about the benefits of riding public transit, fun destinations, TAP cards, trip planning, safety and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for a free tour of the Metro system!
