Service Advisory: Buses replace C Line (Green) trains between Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach this weekend

Metro will be upgrading signal systems on the C Line (Green) beginning 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 to the end of service, Sunday, Jan. 26. During this time, there will be no train service between Aviation/LAX and Redondo Beach Station. Free bus shuttles will be provided to help customers complete their trips.

The LAX G shuttle will continue to operate from Aviation/LAX Station during the closure.

Thank you for your patience as we improve the C Line (Green). For real-time service updates, please follow @metrolaalerts on Twitter.

  1. Says: “following three stations”, then it lists 5 stations. Hmmm, does MTA have anyone proofreading anything?

  2. Who ever made the PDF/JPG needs to be reminded to use the C Line’s proper name.

  3. This is really becoming a major inconvenience for the South Bay. How long do you estimate this will go on until finished?
