Kick off 2020 with a creative exploration of Los Angeles via Metro! Our enthusiastic, knowledgeable volunteer docents will teach you how to use the transit system while sharing stories about our diverse collection of artwork in rail stations.
BONUS: Take a tour and receive one of Metro’s first limited edition “Art on TAP” cards featuring artworks commissioned by Metro Art! The cards were released last month exclusively on the A Line (Blue).
Here’s your guide to all the Metro Art tours happening in January:
- Saturday, January 4: Art tour of Hollywood & North Hollywood rail stations from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet at the street level entrance to North Hollywood Station (Red Line).
- Sunday, January 5: Art tour of downtown rail stations from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
- Saturday, January 11: Art tour of downtown rail stations (en Español) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
- Sunday, January 12: Art & Architecture Tour of Union Station from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
- Saturday, January 25: Art tour of Pasadena stations towards Union Station from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at Del Mar Station, just outside the station by the TAP machines.
- Sunday, January 26: Art tour of Culver City and Santa Monica stations from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at La Cienega/Jefferson Station, street level entrance near the elevators.
