Service Advisory: Buses replace A Line (Blue) trains between Del Amo and Compton tonight after 9 p.m.

Bus shuttles will replace A Line (Blue) train service between Del Amo and Compton stations tonight beginning at 9 p.m. through close of service due to emergency repair of vandalized equipment. While work is in progress, all southbound trains will travel as far as Compton Station and turn back toward 7th Street/Metro Center. The last stop for all northbound trains will be Del Amo Station. From there, trains will return to downtown Long Beach.

Trains are slated to run every 12 minutes, and after 9 p.m. trains will run every 20 minutes. Buses will match A Line service levels as best as possible. As a reminder, rides on all Metro Bus and Rail are free from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. tonight.

Thank you for your patience while Metro conducts this repair work. Regular service will resume on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
