We’ve updated our Lost and Found to make it easier to return lost items to you! If you lose something while on Metro, or find something on Metro property, you can report it immediately to a Metro employee or fill out a Lost Item Report at metro.net/lostandfound. There is now a new feature allowing you to upload a photo of your lost item.
If possible, also make a note of the following information that will help the Lost and Found team identify your item:
- Bus route number or train line
- Bus or train car number
- Station name
- Date, time of day and direction of travel
Once you complete the form, you will receive a reference number. Use the reference number to inquire after and/or pick up your lost item. You will receive a call or email if Lost and Found believe they have found your item.
Items may be picked up at the Lost and Found office, located next to Heritage Square Station. If you’re unable to pick up the item in person, you have the option of completing a Property Release Form and choosing a designee to retrieve your item. Or you may have your item shipped to you (see shipping label procedure).
The Metro Lost and Found is located at 3571 Pasadena Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90031. From Union Station, take the northbound Gold Line (toward Pasadena) three stops to Heritage Square Station. More information can be found here.
