Here are the Metro Art events happening in November

From the culmination of our animation film screening series to art tours and open houses, here are all of the FREE Metro Art events happening this month:

  • Sunday, November 9: Art tour of downtown rail stations (en Español) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
  • Sunday, November 10: Art and Architecture tour of Union Station from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
  • Wednesday, November 13: Metro Art Open House event #3; learn about upcoming artist opportunities from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lankershim Arts Center.
  • Friday, November 15Waking Life from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., the last in an all-new film screening series featuring animated films on the theme of magical journeys at Union Station, paired with a drop-in flip book workshop led by artist, filmmaker and educator Daphna Lapidot from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 16: Metro Art Open House event #4; learn about upcoming artist opportunities from 10 a.m. to noon at the Billie Jean King Main Library.
  • Tuesday, November 19: Metro Art Open House event #5; learn about upcoming artist opportunities from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Armory Center for the Arts.
