From the culmination of our animation film screening series to art tours and open houses, here are all of the FREE Metro Art events happening this month:
- Sunday, November 9: Art tour of downtown rail stations (en Español) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
- Sunday, November 10: Art and Architecture tour of Union Station from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
- Wednesday, November 13: Metro Art Open House event #3; learn about upcoming artist opportunities from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lankershim Arts Center.
- Friday, November 15: Waking Life from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., the last in an all-new film screening series featuring animated films on the theme of magical journeys at Union Station, paired with a drop-in flip book workshop led by artist, filmmaker and educator Daphna Lapidot from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
- Saturday, November 16: Metro Art Open House event #4; learn about upcoming artist opportunities from 10 a.m. to noon at the Billie Jean King Main Library.
- Tuesday, November 19: Metro Art Open House event #5; learn about upcoming artist opportunities from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Armory Center for the Arts.
