This November, all Councils will meet and receive a Regional Bus/Rail Overview to learn more about their service areas. The overview provides helpful background as a prelude to the NextGen Bus Study changes that will be proposed next year. The Councils will also receive an update on NextGen that will include dates for the next set of workshops in February.

With the usual December service changes approaching, Metro’s Service Planning team will present a review of last June’s changes and a preview of any minor changes coming in December at all Councils but San Fernando Valley, who will get their overview next month. All Councils but the San Fernando Valley will likely go dark for the month of December. Last but not least, Transit Security will provide an overview of their services at all of the Councils that didn’t get that presentation last month.

Please note that this month, the San Gabriel Valley Council will meet on November 18 due to the Veterans Day holiday, and Council Member Valerie Gibson will also be recognized for her service. This will also be the South Bay’s last meeting at Inglewood City Hall, as the Council voted last month to move their meetings to Carson in December and has already decided not to meet in December.
