Go Metro to the 14th annual Taste of Soul

“Bring the Family” to Taste of Soul this Saturday, Oct. 19 and enjoy live music, food from some of the best spots in town, exhibits from local businesses, and tons of entertainment for all to enjoy. The festival is open to the public and takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and you can get there via Metro.

Skip the hassle of driving and parking by taking the Expo Line to Expo/Crenshaw Station. From there, it’s just a short walk to the festival entrance. Expo Line trains will run every 12 minutes on Saturday.

For those who need a place to relax and recharge at the festival, Metro will have a booth at Crenshaw Boulevard and Coliseum Street with seating and mobile chargers. Staff will be available to provide information on Metro projects and programs, including the construction of the Crenshaw/LAX Line.

Metro Bus lines that will be detouring during Taste of Soul include Line 40, 105, 210, 705, 710 and 740. For detour route info, check Metro’s Service Advisories at metro.net/advisories.
