Obama Boulevard commemorative TAP cards will be available at Metro Customer Centers starting Sept. 18

Rodeo Road was renamed President Barack Obama Boulevard on May 8, 2019 to commemorate our 44th president. Metro released Obama Boulevard commemorative TAP cards at the time to celebrate the renaming, but numbers were very limited. However, you’ll now have another chance to pick one up an Obama Blvd. TAP card!

Obama Blvd. TAP cards will be available at Metro Customer Centers beginning Wednesday, Sept. 18. The cards are $2 each plus the cost of fare and will be available while supplies last.

  1. The card should commemorate all the people his administration threw under the bus.

  2. Can we expect a Tom Bradley card in the future (he was responsible for some real good [and some bad] WRT to Metro. Like getting the Red and Blue lines up and running.
