Get ready to lace up and step back in time for the ultimate roller skating experience as Union Station transforms into a Retro Roller Rink on Aug. 24 and 25.
The Historic Ticket Concourse will become a rocking roller disco with retro DJs spinning classic dance grooves from the 70s and 80s, as well as today’s top hits. The L.A. Roller Girls will be performing throughout the weekend and will be on hand to offer tips and tricks to even the most novice skaters.
Retro Roller Rink will be open from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25.
Admission for a one-hour skate session is $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Skate rentals are included with an admission ticket. Guests can bring their own roller skates or roller blades. All levels and ages are welcome. Tickets available on Eventbrite.
Go Metro to Retro Roller Rink by taking the Red, Purple, Gold or Silver Line directly to Union Station. The station is also served by many Metro and municipal buses. Plan your trip at metro.net.
