Go Metro to Paul McCartney’s show at Dodger Stadium on July 13

If you’re heading to Sir Paul McCartney’s show at Dodger Stadium this Saturday, there’s good news: the Dodger Stadium Express will be offering service from Union Station. Buses will be available starting at 5 p.m. and leave approximately every 10 minutes. Return service will run until 45 minutes after the concert ends.

Rides are free with proof of concert ticket. Board near the taxi zone at Union Station West adjacent to Alameda Street.

Union Station is served by Metrolink, Amtrak, the Metro Gold, Silver, Red and Purple lines, as well as multiple bus lines. Plan your trip at metro.net. Parking is also available at Union Station for $8.

  1. I thoroughly enjoyed the service to the event, however on the trip back the wait time for a return bus was horrendous. We were told in line by an event staffer that there were only 30 buses total and 4 buses were available immediately at the end of the concert but the wait for the next set of buses was going to take some time. Apparently, there are several stops at the stadium with long lines and the first stop was filling up the buses. About 100 people left the line to walk 2 miles back to Union Station as it was 12:30 am and people were in a panic that they were not going to make it back to catch the Gold Line’s last departure. Gold line last departure is supposed to be at 2:30 am Could there be signage to alert people of the last metro departure times? Could there be more buses?. Please help educate us. I want to use public transportation. Thank you.

    • Thank you for the feedback! We’ll be sure to share with staff to make sure service info is communicated more clearly.

  2. Thanks for this notice. Why did they wait so long? I guess to sell parking at $50-90/pop, as long as possible!
