Preview of Metro Service Council meetings in May

May is here and spring carries on. The poppies continue to bloom, and the Service Councils continue to report. This month, all the Service Councils will receive cleanliness station evaluation reports for quarter three. The Gateway Cities and San Gabriel Valley will also receive an update on the Eastside Transit Corridor’s Phase 2 Scoping. As per their request, the San Gabriel Valley Council will receive a presentation on ridership at the Cal State LA Silver Line Station. The San Fernando Council will finally receive the U-TAP Update and learn about its success in expanding student transit ridership. San Fernando will also receive an update on Metro Bike share in the Valley.

The Service Council meetings provide residents with more opportunities to contribute to service issues in their neighborhoods, as well as region-specific project updates. The scheduled items for each Council are listed below, and the agendas are posted monthly with links to the presentation materials here.
