UPDATE, 4:30 p.m.: North Hollywood Station is now open for service, LAPD has concluded their investigation. Trains are resuming normal service to the station.
North Hollywood Station is currently closed due while LAPD investigates a suspicious item on the Red Line platform. Bus shuttles are in service between Universal City/Studio City Station and North Hollywood Station. Line 224 also connects Universal/Studio City and North Hollywood.
There is currently no estimate when the station will reopen. Please check @metrolaalerts for live updates.
Orange Line service is not affected.

Oh god, someone toss a backpack on the rails again? I remember when that happened at Hollywood & Highland and we got stranded waiting for a shuttle buss in the rain….what ultimately happened with that?
