New limited edition Movement TAP cards available at select vending machines starting March 1

Join the Movement! Three different limited edition Movement TAP cards will be available beginning today, Mar. 1 at select TAP vending machines at the stations listed below. Card installation will be done over a few days — if you want to get a card immediately, I recommend checking at one of the busier stations first, such as Union Station or 7th/Metro.

Be sure to check the sticker above the TVM screens to see which cards are in stock. Not all stations have each design. TAP cards cost $2 and are reusable.

Once you get your card, feel free to take a photo and share with us @metrolosangeles! We’d love to see which design you chose.

  1. These are awesome!

How does Metro choose at which stations to sell seasonal cards? Does it depend on the number of TVMs at the station? I live near the Vermont/Santa Monica station and would love to see them at the north entrance there!

    • Matt, what are you talking about? These aren’t just graphically awful but what movement?
