Preview of February Service Council Meetings

February is here; that means sweethearts, chocolates, and Valentine’s Day celebrations. Get into the Valentine’s Day spirit and complete one more New Year’s Resolution by attending a Service Council meeting. This month, all Service Councils will hold a regular meeting. The last Service Council-hosted NextGen Bus Study workshop will be held on February 6 in Van Nuys, then the San Fernando Valley Service Council will convene very briefly immediately following. Additional NextGen workshops are being planned for later in February and March. The workshops dates, times, and locations will be made available here once finalized; more information about the study is also at the link.

The NextGen workshops have inspired the Westside Central and Gateway Cities Service Councils to consider changing their meeting times to improve public accessibility; share your thoughts at any of our Council meetings or email the Councils here to let them know if a change in meeting time would improve your ability to attend these public meetings.

The Council meetings are intended to provide residents with opportunities to make suggestions about service issues in their communities and learn about Metro’s regional projects and programs. The meetings are listed below with their respective agenda items in order of occurrence. Each Council’s agendas are posted monthly with links to presentation materials here at least three days before the meeting.
