Metro will be conducting emergency repair work on the Blue Line and Expo Line on Tuesday night, Dec. 18, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. During this time, all Blue and Expo Line trains will end service at Pico Station.
Free bus shuttles will run between 7th St/Metro Center and Pico Station. Southbound buses will pick up on Flower Street at 7th St. and northbound buses will pick up on Pico Blvd. at Flower Street.
Red and Purple Line service will not be affected. Regular Blue and Expo Line service to 7th St/Metro Center will resume with start of service on Dec. 19.

“Emergency repair work”? What is the emergency? Is it safe to ride the Blue Line today?
Is there ever going to be a time when one of the rail lines is not shut down for maintenance? Shoddy and non standard construction on the Blue Line has plagued it from the beginning. The Pacific Electric and L.A. Railway would not have been so successful with these constant interruptions in service.
When will the cave become a tunnel with the final link under Flower/6th?
