November is here; that means turkey, pumpkin pie and all the trimmings. Get into the Thanksgiving spirit by learning all about Metro’s regional projects and programs.

All Service Councils will meet in November. Please note that due to Veteran’s Day, the San Gabriel Valley Service Council will meet on Thursday, November 1. This month, all of  the Service Councils will receive a presentation on the Annual Rider Survey Results and will approve dates and times for January’s NextGen workshops. Each Council’s agendas are posted monthly with links to presentation materials here. The meetings provide residents more opportunities for direct input into service issues in their communities, as well as region-specific project updates.

Everyone is encouraged to attend Service Council meetings to share their comments and suggestions on how Metro can improve bus service throughout LA County.  If you would like to provide input but cannot attend a meeting, you can submit your comments in writing through the Service Council web page or send them to servicecouncils@metro.net. If your comments are for a specific Council, please indicate which one you are addressing in your e-mail. You can also use the email to subscribe to your Council’s email list to receive the agendas and other regional notices.
