Start your transportation career as a Metro bus operator: attend hiring event on April 7

If you are 21 years old or older and interested in becoming a Metro bus operator, don’t miss our one-day hiring event this Saturday, April 7. There are more than 200 bus operator positions available, and staff will be conducting on-the-spot testing, interviews, agility testing and background checks.

Saturday, April 7 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Metro – Central Maintenance Facility (CMF), Building #2
490 Bauchet St.
Los Angeles, CA 90012

Free parking will be available on site.

The event dress code is business casual with closed-toe shoes. The hiring process may take three to five hours. Please plan to stay for the entire duration of the event.

  1. It makes me sad how undervalued bus drivers are. $15/hour p/t for one of the most brutal jobs? Tops out at only $24 after four years? I’m guessing those jobs would get filled much easier if Metro bumped the number on the left up one.
