Preview of March Service Council Meetings

Come join us this month to welcome a new season with Metro’s regional projects and programs. All Service Councils will meet in March and will receive the Regional Performance Report and presentations for their respective regions. Each Council will also select its representative to serve on the NextGen Bus Study Working group, an effort to redesign Metro’s bus network.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and share input at Service Council meetings. For more information about each Service Council Meeting, click on the name of the Council below to view their web page. All agenda items are listed below. 

San Fernando Valley (6:30 p.m., Wednesday, 3/7) – Recognize Pamela del Valle, Empire Interchange Update, Councilmember Line Ride Report, Select Service Council Representative to Serve on NextGen Working Group,  and Regional Service Performance Report.

Gateway Cities (2:00 p.m., Thursday, 3/8) – I-710 Livability Initiative Overview, West Santa Ana Branch Corridor Update, Councilmember Line Ride Report, and Regional Service Performance Report.

South Bay (9:30 a.m., Friday, 3/9) – I-405/110 Highway Project Overview, Complete Streets Policy Overview, Councilmember Line Ride Report, Select Service Council Representative to Serve on NextGen Working Group, and Regional Service Performance Report.

San Gabriel Valley (5:00 p.m., Monday, 3/12) – Silver to Silver Program Overview, Select Service Council Representative to Serve on NextGen Working Group, and Regional Service Performance Report.

Westside Central (5:00 p.m., Wednesday, 3/14) – Wilshire/Westwood Intersection Bus Detour Plan Update, My Figueroa Update, Select Service Council Representative to Serve on NextGen Working Group, and Regional Service Performance Report.

For details on all Council meeting dates, times and locations, as well as copies of the presentations, click here. The public is encouraged to attend and share comments or suggestions with the Service Councils on improving bus service throughout L.A. County.

If you would like to provide input but cannot attend a meeting, you can also submit your comments in writing through the Service Council web page or send them to servicecouncils@metro.net. If your comments are for a specific Council, please make sure to indicate which one you are addressing in your e-mail. You can also use the email to subscribe to your Council’s email list to receive the agendas and other regional notices.
