Preview of February Service Council meetings

Come join us this month and fall in endless love with Metro’s regional projects and programs!

All Service Councils will meet in February and will receive the second quarter of fiscal year 2018 Station Inspection Report and the Regional Performance Report for their respective regions.

The San Fernando Valley and South Bay Service Councils will also receive the New Fare Subsidy Program – LIFE Presentation that the rest of the Councils received last month. Additionally, Metro staff will present to the San Fernando Valley Service Council a revised Warner Center Improvement Plan that includes modifications based on public comment received last month.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and share input at Service Council meetings. For more information about each Service Council Meeting, click on the name of the Council below to view their web page. All agenda items are listed below.   

San Fernando Valley (6:30 p.m., Wednesday, 2/7) – Swear in Rosalba González as Council Member, New Fare Subsidy Program—LIFE, approve Revised Warner Center Improvement Plan, FY18 Q2 Station Evaluation Report, Council Member Line Ride Report and Regional Service Performance Report.

Gateway Cities (2:00 p.m., Thursday, 2/8) – Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station Update, Councilmember Line Rides Report, FY18 Q2 Station Evaluation Report and Regional Service Performance Report.

South Bay (9:30 a.m., Friday, 2/9) – New Fare Subsidy Program – LIFE, Bike/Bus Interface Study Overview, FY18 Q2 Station Evaluation Report and Regional Service Performance Report.

San Gabriel Valley (5:00 p.m., Monday, 2/12) – Electric Buses, Line 177 Update, FY18 Q2 Station Evaluation Report and Regional Service Performance Report.

Westside Central (5:00 p.m., Wednesday, 2/14) – Digital Countdown Displays and Real-Time Accuracy Improvement Status Update, FY18 Q2 Station Evaluation Report and Regional Service Performance Report.

The public is encouraged to attend and share their comments or suggestions with the Service Councils on improving bus service throughout L.A. County. If you would like to provide input but cannot attend a meeting, you can also submit your comments in writing through the Service Council web page or send them to servicecouncils@metro.net.

If your comments are for a specific Council, please make sure to indicate which one you are addressing in your e-mail. You can also use the email to subscribe to your Council’s email list to receive the agendas and other regional notices.
