To start the year off right, come join us and learn all about Metro’s regional projects and programs. We are always open to suggestions for discussion at our Council meetings; let us know what you want to hear, and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
All Service Councils will meet in January and receive the Parking Master Plan Update and their Regional Performance Report. Westside Central and Gateway Service Councils will hear a Green Line/ Crenshaw LAX Tie-In Closure Overview. All Councils except the San Fernando Valley and South Bay will receive a presentation on the New Fare Subsidy Program – LIFE, which will be presented in the Valley and at the South Bay Council in February.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and share input at Service Council meetings. For more information about each Service Council Meeting, click on the name of the Council below to view their web page. Agenda items for each Council are listed below.
San Fernando Valley (met on Wednesday, 1/3) –Parking Master Plan Update, Warner Center Shuttle and Related Route Restructuring Update, FY18 Line Ride Schedule, and Regional Service Performance Report. Note: There was no action taken on the Warner Center Shuttle and Related Route Restructuring Update.
San Gabriel Valley (5:00pm, Monday, 1/8) – Parking Master Plan Update, New Fare Subsidy Program – LIFE Presentation, and Regional Service Performance Report.
Westside Central (5:00pm, Wednesday, 1/10) – Pico Station Renaming Item, Parking Master Plan Update, New Fare Subsidy Program – LIFE Presentation, Green Line/Crenshaw LAX Tie-In Closure Overview, and Regional Service Performance Report.
Gateway Cities (2:00pm, Thursday, 1/11) – Approve a Public Comment Policy for Gateway Cities Service Council Meetings. Parking Master Plan Update, Green Line/Crenshaw LAX Tie-In Closure Overview, New Fare Subsidy Program – LIFE Presentation, and Regional Service Performance Report.
South Bay (9:30am, Friday, 1/12) –Regional Service Performance Report, Councilmember Comments and Line Rides, Parking Program Pilot Update, and the New Fare Subsidy Program – LIFE Presentation.

If you would like to provide input but cannot attend a meeting, you can also submit your comments in writing through the Service Council web page or send them to servicecouncils@metro.net. If your comments are for a specific Council, please make sure to indicate which one you are addressing in your e-mail. You can also use the email to subscribe to your Council’s email list to receive the agendas and other regional notices.
