Repairs to the overhead power supply system in Long Beach are expected to continue through PM rush hour. This means southbound trains will travel as far as Anaheim Station and turn back to Downtown Los Angeles.
Bus shuttles are still operating between Willow and Downtown Long Beach Station.
Blue Line service was disrupted earlier today due to damaged overhead wire south of Anaheim Station at 10th Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
The cause of the damaged wire is still under investigation. Thank you to all Blue Line customers for their patience as we work to make repairs as fast as possible. For up-to-the-minute status updates, follow Metro on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metroLAalerts.
