From a tour exploring historic Union Station art and architecture to a documentary film screening highlighting the thriving alternative hip-hop movement of the 1990s as it evolved in Los Angeles, here’s your guide to all the Metro Art events happening in December. - Friday, Dec. 1: Metro Art Presents This is the Life (2008, 97 min, Dir. Ava DuVernay) as the final installment of our documentary series about Los Angeles. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. in Union Station’s Historic Ticketing Hall; screening runs from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 2: Art Tour of Rail Stations in Hollywood from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet at the street level entrance to the Hollywood/Highland Station.
- Sunday, Dec. 3: Art Tour of Rail Stations in downtown Los Angeles from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
- Sunday, Dec. 10: Art & Architecture Tour of Union Station from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at the Union Station information kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance.
