The new Metro Bike Hub at Union Station is now open for business! The facility is located next to the north breezeway of Union Station West near Alameda Street and offers safe and secure parking for nearly 200 bicycles under a controlled entry system and closed-circuit TV surveillance. The Metro Bike Hub also offers onsite staff assistance, same-day repairs, accessory sales, bike classes and more.
Secure bike parking is operated by BikeHub, Metro’s Small Business Enterprise-certified contractor that also operates the El Monte and Hollywood/Vine Bike Hubs. Registered users may access the secure bike parking area 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To park your bike at Union Station Metro Bike Hub, register online at metro.net/bikehub. You can then purchase a 7-day pass for $5, a 30-day pass for $12, or a 1-year pass for $60. Discounts are available for Seniors (62+), Disabled, Medicare and Students K-12 with valid identification. A California ID/driver’s license or Metro Bike Hub card is used to enter the facility. As part of your membership, you’ll also have access to the El Monte and Hollywood/Vine Bike Hubs.
Retail and bike services are provided by the Bike Center. The company will host bike repair and commute information clinics, bike valet, tours and bike rentals. Retail hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Additional bike hubs are planned at Culver City Station, Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station, North Hollywood Station and the Airport Metro Connector station. For more information on Metro Bike Hubs, visit metro.net.

Any update on the North Hollywood Bike Hub? Is it in limbo while the details are worked out with the joint development agreement?
“BikeHub, Metro’s Small Business Enterprise-certified contractor that also operates the El Monte and Hollywood/Vine Bike Hubs…” — these two bike hubs (EM & H/V) and now Culver City Buke Hub were all awarded to Metro Small Business Enterprises (Prime Contractors). Holistic Bike program with local small businesses is a BIG WIN for Los Angeles. Nice Article, Anna! (Kudos Andi/Anthony/Project Management Team)
