Rain or shine, all Service Councils will meet in November; each will receive the NextGen Outreach Plan Update (Bus Restructuring Study), June 2017 Service Changes Update & December Service Changes Preview, FY18 Q1 Station Cleanliness Report and the Regional Service Performance Report.
All Councils, with the exception of San Fernando Valley Council, will consider going dark for the December Council meetings in spirit of the upcoming holidays (San Fernando Valley previously voted to go dark for December).
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and share input at Service Council meetings. For more information about each Service Council Meeting, click on the name of the Council below to view their web page. Additional agenda items are listed below.
San Fernando Valley (6:30 p.m., Wednesday, 11/1) – Receive the Orange Line Study Update.
South Bay *(11:00 a.m., Thursday, 11/2) – No additional items.
*Due to the Veteran’s Day holiday, the South Bay Service Council will meet on Thursday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza Community Room located at 3650 W. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90008. The Council will return to their regular meeting time, date, and location with their next meeting.
Westside Central (5:00 p.m., Wednesday 11/8) – No additional items.
Gateway Cities (2:00 p.m., Thursday 11/9) – Approve a Public Comment Policy for Gateway Cities Service Council Meetings.
San Gabriel Valley *(5:30 p.m., Monday, 11/13) – Report on proposed Changes to Line 177 for December 2017 or Later, and approve Changes to Line 177 Service.
*The San Gabriel Valley Service Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 13 regarding proposed service changes to Line 177. For more information on proposed routes and location, click here. The Council meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. or immediately after the hearing which will begin at 5:00 p.m. Both the public hearing and the Council meeting will be held at the Pasadena Senior Center, 85 E. Holly Street, Pasadena, CA 91103.

The public is encouraged to attend and share their comments or suggestions with the Service Councils on improving bus service throughout L.A. County. If you would like to provide input but cannot attend a meeting, you can also submit your comments in writing through the Service Council web page or send them to servicecouncils@metro.net. If your comments are for a specific Council, please make sure to indicate which one you are addressing in your e-mail.
