There are delays on the Expo Line today due to a serious train-person incident at approximately 10:41 a.m. at the 11th Avenue crossing of the tracks, just east of the Expo/Crenshaw Station.
Trains headed toward downtown Los Angeles are turning back to Santa Monica at Expo/Crenshaw Station. Trains headed toward Santa Monica are turning back to downtown at Expo/Western Station.
There is no train service between Expo/Crenshaw and Expo/Western stations. There is train service between downtown Los Angeles and Exposition Park.
Bus bridges to take passengers between the two stations are being formed.
If you’re headed to the USC football game at 1 p.m., leave as early as possible or consider other ways to get to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Here are alternative services for the Expo Line if you need them. To repeat, there is train service between DTLA and Exposition Park — but expect some delays.
From downtown L.A., the city of Los Angeles DASH F bus runs between 7th/Flower and Exposition Park. A map of the route is here. Cash fare is 50 cents and TAP stored value fare is 35 cents.
The Metro 81 Bus has a southbound stop on Hill Street in downtown Los Angeles and runs south to Exposition Park, near the Coliseum. Exit at Exposition Boulevard and Figueroa and walk south along Fig to the Coliseum.
The Metro 102 Bus (click for map) also stops at Expo/Western, Expo/Vermont, Expo/USC and Jefferson/USC Stations.

I am VERY sorry to hear of your Expo Line incident. My sympathy to your staff and operations people. As a locomotive engineer and transit operator I have had many of these events. I do understand the trauma these horrific episodes cause your people.
