Take a little more transit and eat a little less meat are two things you can do to reduce your impact on the environment. In this installment of Meatless Mondays with Metro, let’s take a look at Cena Vegan.
Cena Vegan is dedicated to helping those seeking healthier lifestyles with less or no meat. As health-conscious foodies and with 66 percent Latin American ownership, they know what authentic Latin American flavors should taste like. Their vegan tacos have been highly raved about, so why not give them a try?
Cena Vegan currently sets up shop for Taco Tuesdays and Fiesta Fridays in Highland Park. You can also find them at Smoragasburg LA on Sundays.
To visit Cena Vegan in Highland Park, take Metro Bus 83 or DASH Highland Park/Eagle Rock to York/Avenue 51.

As a life long resident of SoCal and an omnivore, Cena does not disappoint. It is great Mexican food that happens to be plant based. Their nacho boat is a meal to itself (with any of the “meats” on it.) As a side it is enough for 3 or 4 people to share.
