Business Interruption Fund workshops in September

Learn about Metro’s Business Interruption Fund (BIF) at a series of workshops this month. The BIF provides financial assistance to small “mom and pop” businesses located along the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, the Little Tokyo area and the 2nd/Broadway segment* along the Regional Connector and Section 1 and Section 2 of the Purple Line Extension that are impacted by transit rail construction.

Metro and Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Corporation (PCR) staff will share information with small business owners about eligibility requirements and how to apply for the program.

Staff will provide tips for preparing applications and supporting materials, and will answer questions. Those attending application workshops will also be able to fill out a paper application on site. For more information, visit metro.net/bif.
