The L.A. County Fair returns this fall from Sept. 1 through 24, and you can take Metrolink to “The Magical World of Dragons, Wizards and Beasts” using the special Fairplex platform. All San Bernardino Line weekend trains will stop at the Fairplex platform after 9:30 a.m. (except for Train 351, 352 and 353). From there, a free shuttle will pick you up and take you to the yellow gate entrance.
Purchase a Metrolink $10 Weekend Day Pass to get to the L.A. County Fair for a day of food and fun on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY. This year the Fair is offering Metrolink riders a special online $12 single day admission ticket, use promo code METROLINK upon checkout.
Metrolink will also offer special Labor Day service to LACF on Monday, Sept. 4. Trains will operate on a Sunday schedule on Labor Day and make stops at the Fairplex. Trains will stop at the Fairplex after 9:30 a.m. (except for Train 351, 352 and 353).
Metro riders can connect to the Metrolink San Bernardino Line at Union Station.
Another option is to take Foothill Transit. Ride to the fair on Line 196 or 197. Line 196 connects to the Metro Gold Line at Azusa Downtown Station, and you can load a Metro-to-Muni transfer on your TAP card to make the connection seamlessly.
