The removal of the wood frame under the newly built rail bridge over the I-405 freeway for the Crenshaw/LAX Line continues this week. There have not been any major traffic delays during the work. The southbound full lane closures are taking place Monday to Friday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The images above are of the work that is taking place at Florence Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard in the City of Inglewood.

  1. I wonder if the lower level might be used for a bike and pedestrian bridge. That would be awesome, and probably a much safer alternative to the existing overpass.

  2. Is the previously existing train bridge, below the Crenshaw line bridge, going to be removed?
